NEW YORK (CNS) -- Here are some television program notes for the week of Sept. 30 with their TV Parental Guidelines ratings if available. They have not been reviewed and therefore are not necessarily recommended by Catholic News Service.

Sunday, Sept. 30, 10-11 p.m. EDT (EWTN) "St. Francis and Brother Elias." Docudrama about the lives of St. Francis of Assisi and Brother Elias, one of the saint's earliest followers (TV-Y -- all children).

Wednesday, Oct. 3, 10-11 p.m. EDT (PBS) "The Woman in the Iron Coffin." This episode of the series "Secrets of the Dead" explores the story of early America's free black communities via the remains of a woman from the 1800s (TV-PG -- parental guidance suggested).

Friday, Oct. 5, 10-11:30 a.m. EDT (EWTN) "Worldwide Children's Holy Hour." A eucharistic and Marian Holy Hour in which children will be united throughout the world praying for families and for peace. Live from the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington (TV-G -- general audience).

Friday, Oct. 5, 9-11 p.m. EDT (PBS) "Grammy Salute to Music Legends 2018." A concert honoring Neil Diamond, Tina Turner, John Williams and others. Part of the series "Great Performances" (TV-PG -- parental guidance suggested).
